Would recommend this place to any groups but looks like this place is popular with groups of females for lunch. Only slight snafu was the bill, not that it was wrong but the line items and $ figures were not lined up correctly which made it hard to do the math to confirm it was correct. From a food standpoint, straight excellent. I couldn't imaging a more perfect sugary/creamy mix. On to the oatmeal cream pie: outstanding thin cookies sandwiched around filling that was to die for. One of the best oatmeal cookies I ever had. First on the cookie: finally someone has figured out to scrap the freaking raisins and put chocolate chips in its place. My wife wandered inside to see the dessert case and ordered what I believe to be an oatmeal cookie and an oatmeal cream pie. Came with some toast that was ok but had some very fresh jelly and butter that was outstanding.
Must be some big chickens on the property. It looked like 5 jumbo eggs had been used, though the server said just 2. Mama ordered up the egg breakfast, scrambled. Soup was hot, tasty, and came with more stuff than soup, just the way I like it. It came with a cup of soup of the day, some sort of vegetable/lemon soup. I ordered a chicken Panini that I thought was very good, right mixt of chicken, lettuce, tomato, condiments. We both ordered iced tea, had some mango flavor mixed in automatically and was very good.
